Images presented here are scans of actual cards from The Modern Witch Tarot deck that I use in my readings. My choice to use the Modern Witch deck exclusively is intentional. Decks traditionally feature white men from a bygone era. Modern Witch, by strident and refreshing contrast, is contemporary and centers women in all of our racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual diversity. In spiritual spaces especially, inclusion is paramount to safety. This is why the Modern Witch deck resonates with me. If you are not a fan of the cards that I use, I encourage you to seek out a reader who uses cards towards which you feel an affinity.
